Overview, Content & Syllabus

The two day course is designed to enhance health care personnel, both administrative and medical, to prepare for health care facilities and develop capacities of personnel to a state of preparedness and respond effectively to internal or community emergencies that involve large numbers of casualties. This will enable hospitals and health facilities in general to develop a well designed major incident plan and its testing methodology.
Intended Audience
This course is intended for administrators handling Disaster Management, Hospital Administrators, Health Care Facility Managers, Emergency Department Physicians & Nurses, Public Health Officials, who are responsible for hospital emergency planning, or and any emergencies involving mass casualties that require involvement of the major resources of the Hospital.
Course Length - 16 hours
Written / Skills Exam - Required for completion Certificate.
