Kovalent Academy
Kovalent Academy is established with a concept to provide best coaching in a different, innovative and affable learning environment in the challenging field of IIT-JEE and other competitive examinations. Kovalent is committed to help the students in career visioning, building and improving their skills, which is an essential requirement to succeed in today’s world.
It provides excellent study inputs to the students through comprehensive course-ware including high quality study material and experienced core team as a continuous learning input. It provides a platform to the students for better understanding of the concepts and their applications and therefore prepare well for the competitive examinations.
How Kovalent is different from others?
To our mind – a quality of preparatory institutions is not measured by flashy & expensive advertisements & swanky infrastructure. Rather, the only meaning metric of quality is the quality of faculty team members. And we can very proudly and without an iota of doubt claim that Kovalent has the best faculty team in the NCR region.
Our faculties have degrees from top Indian universities including IITs and have extensive teaching experience in KOTA. A perfect blend of subject knowledge, experience in IIT coaching at some of the most reputed names in KOTA and the ability to tackle students at very different intellectual levels makes the Kovalent faculty best in the town.
In addition to great faculty, we at Covalent provide very effective study material including theory notes, daily practice problem sheets, comprehensive chapter wise practice questions with answers at increasing level of difficulty, IIT-JEE standard question papers and testing methodology. Our study material is most effective because it’s comprehensive yet very concise. And hence, it’s actually possible for students to go through the whole material while attending school at the same time.
The study material is designed in such a way that it prepares a student for both competitive examinations as well as board exams in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry. The difficulty level of question papers gradually proceeds during the year to optimize the temperament for final exams towards the of the academic session.
We at Kovalent strongly believe that there is no substitute to hard work. However, channelizing the energy in the right direction is equally important for success in any competitive atmosphere. We are strong believer in 80/20 principles and feel that if rightly focused in an optimal way, 20% of efforts could bring you 80% results – specifically in the context of competitive examination. If you go through the past 15 years question paper of IIT-JEE & AIEEE you would realize that there are few concepts in each chapter which are repeated in time and again. We have identified these as most critical concepts, and students are trained to master these concepts first and only then they proceed to other material which is less probable from exam’s point of view.
We at Kovalent believe that no two students are similar. Each student has a different mind of her own and hence, the approach taken to explain a concept needs to be customized for different individuals.
An example: How the coaching market has become a money minting machine and how are we different
Just realize that if class size is 50 students, & every student asks one question in a 2 hour class, there would be 50 questions. Now, if it takes 2 minutes to answer each question (though actually time required would be much higher), it would take 100 minutes to answer all the questions. So if teacher answering individual doubts for 100 minutes in a two hours class, when would they teach? The matter of the fact is – teachers don’t encourage questions in such classes.
We all understand what’s economy of scale – we all know that it’s much economical and convenient for us to have a class with 30 students, but we go through the pain to actually divide it into two sections with 15 students each so that students can ask and clear their doubts in class rather than attending classes as if it were some video lectures where they are just supposed to listen, take notes and go back home. And as mentioned earlier, we do this, because our underline philosophy is very simple – “We would succeed, if our students succeed.”
