He is a name to reckon with in the field of dancing. When I decided to lunch my son Fardeen Khan, my choich was none other than Shakur Shaikh. My association with him proved to be fruitful. I found in him a very patient, dedicated and sincere teacher who would not tire until my son got the steps right. I was so impressed by Shakur Master's talent & sincerity, that I signed him on the choreograph a song in my son Fardeen Khan's debut film “Prem Aggan”.

I would rate Shakur master as a dance teacher per excellence. My advice to aspiring stars of tomorrow is get hooked onto Shakur Master for dance if you aspire to be one amongst the best – and just remember Feroz Khan makes on over statement. I at the age of 3 or 4 was put into a class to learn Bharatnatyam by my mother. I always used to look forward for my class which I used to enjoy. For some personal reasons. I was make to discontinue the classes and I remember how I cried so much. I has never been to a disco till the age of 21. therefore I had no feel of contemporary or modern dancing.

Hence when I entered the film industry the only appreciation I had would be as to how I would bring grace to my movements.

As a part of my acting course at Kishore Namit Kapoor's I met a wonderful teacher amongst others. Our dance master Shakur Sheikh. He has taught me to enjoy dance, to express myself by my movements and to feel the song.

The first thing that impresses you about him is his great sense of humour and smiling face. He is also a great disciplinarian and demands perfection, time and dedication from his students.

In the short span of time I have been his student I have thoroughly become flexible.

I hope that my love for dance will someday make him proud of me as his best student.

The nicest thing about which is very relaxed and fun to be in.

The best part about our loving Shakur Masterji is the beauty and youth in his movements.

Dance master Shakur Shaikh has created a wonderful name and carved a niche for himself. Whatever I have heard of him is most gratifying. His patience, dedication and sincerity in training young aspiring newcomers and budding stars indeed makes him a name to reckon with in the dance field of the film industry.
