The department of information Technology is established in the year 2008. The department has 8 well equipped laboratories containing 116 branded machines of latest configuration and required software.

Students of information technology department have formed Student Association by name “SAYITp” under which various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are performed. To share the information and knowledge among the students, the department has started an Electronic News Letter “Informatica”.
To promote open source technology effectively, department has formed Linux user group by name “SnashLUG”. Student of the department share their knowledge by writing technical blogs on various technologies. Department also has good placement record.

First Year Engineering (UG Courses)
i) Candidate should have at least 45% marks (40% if student belong to backward class from Maharashtra) in three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and CET non zero score.

Diploma candidates with 50% and above can be admitted to first year Engineering only against CAP vacant seats.
Direct Second Year
Admission to Direct Second Year after Diploma can be given to students who acquire the diploma with 50% and above marks.
