SAGAR NATRAJ started his career as a tabla tutor when he was 17 years old. Then in the year 1992, he had the good fortune of obtaining the DIVINE DARSHANS of “SRI GURURANI NAGKANYA ( YOGINI )" and "SRI JIMMY NAGPUTHRA ( YOGIRAJ )”. Since then he has climbed the ladder of success and there was no looking back, although he had no formal training in dance earlier, he got the golden opportunity to compose a PUJA NRITYA at the HOLY LOTUS FEET of BOTH "DIVYA JYOTIS” in 1992 and he suddenly started achieving mastery in the field of dance.

Today at an early age of 30 years, he is honoured with the titile ‘Tabla pravin’, ‘Bharatnatyam Visharad’, ‘Kathak Visharad’, ‘Senior Diploma Bharatnatyam’, with the DIVINE BLESSINGS of ‘BOTH DIVYAJYOTIS’ he has been honoured with the ‘Nritya Guru’, ‘Nritya Pandit’, ‘Nritya Samrat’, ‘Nritya Acharya’, ‘Nritya Ratna’, Nritya Maharaj’, ‘Natraj Award’, Maharashtra Guna Gaurav Award, God Father of Daance Award, Maitri Yuva Gaurav Award in such short time. He has gained fame, prestige and honour in life, all due to the benevolent benedictions of “SRI JIMMY NAGPUTHRA ( YOGIRAJ)" and "SRI GURURANI NAGKANYA (YOGINI )” Moreover he has established his own SAGAR NATRAJ DANCE AKADEMY.
