Dr. (Mrs.) Rashmi Samtani who mastered Ph.D in Botany from Nagpur University in 1991 was always inclined towards Travel & Tourism. The zeal and her passion for Travel & Tourism compelled her to start as a faculty in travel & tourism, to understand the working, the practice, as well as the ambiguities of the subject.

Further to crown her with significant subject knowledge she achieved IATA – UFTAA Standard, Advance and Consultant Certificates. Fame and recognition raised her up to become Principal of her franchise branch of IATA – UFTAA. In the year 2002, Dr. (Mrs.) Rashmi Samtani’s confidence and her knowledge enhanced her to independently initiate her own Rashmi’s Trans World Academy at Sion which is also an IATA – UFTAA authorized training centre. Exceptional training methodology, supreme faculties, extreme efforts and superior quality of the institution has resulted in students' outstanding performance and their demand in the field of Travel & Tourism. In order to cater to the needs of students from Western suburbs of Mumbai, another branch was opened in Andheri (E), conveniently located close to the station.

Further learning the demand of Aviation Industry, IIFLY AVIATION TRAINING CENTRE was initiated to impart eminence training to the students aspiring to work as Cabin Crew or Ground Hostess. The escalating growth in tourism industry has also resulted into increase in man power requirement in recent years, thereby increasing the demand for various courses/ options into aviation, hospitality & travel sectors.

Captain H. T. Samtani, a Master Mariner who took up Sea as a career has been working on high seas since 1975, with wide knowledge of world geography and travel across the globe resulting in discovery of various destinations. He has been in MERCHANT NAVY since last 38 years and is serving as Captain on Merchant Ships for the last 19 years.

He started his career with Shipping Corporation of India and continued his sea journey with Arya National Shipping Line (now renamed as IRISL); Wallem Ship Management, Hongkong; Mitsui OSK Lines, Toyko; Anglo Eastern Ship Management , United Ocean Ship Management, Singapore and Wilhelmsen Ship Management. He has served on Car-Carriers, Container Ships, Reefer Ships, Bulk Carriers, and General Cargo Ships.

Further learning his lady’s interest in Travel & Tourism not only inspired him to enter the field of Travel & Tourism but also to avail IATA – UFTAA Standard, Advanced, Consultant Certificates. He has also achieved certificate on Professional Skill Instructor, Consultant Instructors Certificate, Management Instructors Certificate and Airline Customer Service.

Capt. H.T Samtani is the Principal of Rashmi’s Transworld Academy, Andheri Branch. He is also a mentor/ trainer for students. He moves selectively & meticulously on pre-fixed schedule. Right from designing of the programme till placing of the students is monitored by him. He is a person with immense knowledge & ability. He has trained many students for Cruise Ship, Aviation & Travel Tourism Industry, who fondly remember and love him for his subject knowledge and involvement.
