Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Exam Course

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a entrance exam for admission to a large number of B-schools conducted by AIMA. A large number of B-schools across the country use this test to assess the calibre of an MBA aspirant. It is held 4 times in a calendar year i.e. February, May, September & December.

The selection process at most of the B-schools follow a similar pattern. It includes a written test of two to two and half hours’ duration with Multiple Choice Objective Type (MCOT) questions. Most tests also have negative marking for the wrong answers. The key areas included in these tests are Verbal Ability and Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation, Analytical and Logical Reasoning and General/Business Awareness.Most B-schools shortlist students after the written test. After that one has to go through Group Discussion & Personal Interview rounds.
