The ''Philips School Music'' - Acoustic Guitar classes are well designed comprehensive courses for learning acoustic guitar, The content is centered around the RGT Acoustic Guitar graded programs and combined with many Indian popular songs to keep the students motivated through out, and supplemented with the student's choice repertoire, the basic course include the world popular guitar methods from Melbays / Alfred publishing and other standard methods.
Student have an opportunity to appear for London College of Music graded guitar examinations
Skills developed in lessons include right hand finger technics, left hand finger technic, chords, scales, strumming patterns,’ finger-style’ studies and learning well-known guitar melodies, with an emphasis on musical knowledge, accompaniment playing and ABRSM aural awareness to develop your musical abilities. sight reading, songwriting, alternate tunings and rhythm skills also play an important role in the Acoustic Guitar course.
For home practice students will need either a nylon or steel string guitar, of the appropriate size for their height, and body size.
