The School’s vision, as articulated by Dean, Dr. R.S. Gaud, is to forge a strong relationship with the Pharma Industry, which will nurture a fountainhead of young and bright stars of the future.

This Vision has driven the formulation of a course syllabus, which places a great deal of emphasis on Industry interaction and hence, has the right balance of academic excellence and practical application.

Weekly guest lecture series

Every week we have two eminent speakers from the industry / academy to interact seperately with our UG and PG students on current issues.

Consultancy with the industry for research and development

We work in collaboration with more than 50 Pharmaceutical Companies for our M.Pharm. research projects and have received funds over Rs. 50 Lakh from government agencies like Department of Biotechnology, National Medicinal Plant Board (Department of AYUSH), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and also through consultancy for private companies.

Industrial collaborations for M.Pharm. thesis project

The focus at SPPSPTM is to develop strong industry linkages to make education more meaningful. This paved the way for such collaboration where the projects were of industrial interest and the research supervisor too could make a significant contribution. Students have gained hands on experience by working on these projects at post graduate level in the following organisations.
