SCHOOL LEVEL PROJECTS
• Students of Trimester VII conducted experiments for the course ‘Behavioral Economics’ in various colleges.
Students of Trimester VII wrote research papers under the guidance of the research guides.
Some of the topics are:
1. Fossil fuel subsidies in India: Need for Rationalization.
2. Market concentration in the Indian Commercial Banking Sector.
3. Food insecurity and paucity of logistical infrastructure: An Appraisal.
4. Under-recoveries of the downstream oil companies in India.
5. Dividend payout policy in India
6. Entry strategies in emerging markets and their determinants, Focus on India and China.

• A live project in collaboration with the NGO- Praja had been planned out for the F.Y. B.Sc. Economics students as part of the course ‘Political Science’. Students used the RTI to understand the various aspects of functioning of municipal Schools. The project was planned out in 3-4 stages, and resulted in a report being presented to the corporators of the respective municipal wards by FY B.Sc. Economics students.
