Dive Master (DM) Course

The PADI Dive Master course takes your dive skills and knowledge to leadership levels and a Dive Master is a person who has a high level of personal diving skill, has an instructors level of knowledge of diving theory, has significant training in how to assist an instructor during training activities, has exemplary rescue skills and is able to assume appropriate responsibilities that benefit the welfare of other divers.

At Lacadives, our methodology and philosophy for DM training goes beyond just reading manuals and doing exercises. We believe in learning by doing, and Dive Master ‘interns’ with Lacadives experience the day-to-day operations of our dive centres – including helping our instructors train students in their courses, learning equipment and compressor maintenance, leading and assisting certified divers.
