ISOMES is under the Guidance of Mr. Ajit Anjum, Managing Editor of NEWS 24 Channel. Mr. Ajit Anjum has been associated with the company since the past 16 years. He was earlier associated with TV Today group (Aaj Tak) for a brief period. Before his stint with News 24, Mr. Anjum was head of the Current Affairs Department at B.A.G. that produced Red Alert (Investigative Weekly Show) and "Poll Khol" (Satire Show) on Star News. It was under his leadership that the Department produced many revealing sting operations, news stories and special program for Star News (2004 – 2007).
He is credited for the most successful programmes of B.A.G. which includes daily news bulletin "Rozana" (on DD News), Ru-ba-ru (on Zee TV), Let’s Talk, Awam ki Awaz and Lens Eye. A graduate from the Bihar University of Muzaffarpur Mr. Anjum started his carrier as a correspondent with Chauthi Duniyaa, a leading Hindi Daily, later he joined the National Bureau of Amar Ujala as a Correspondent. He has a career in journalism both print & electronic media, which spans over 23 years.
Mr. Anjum has been awarded the most prestigious Ramnath Goenka Award to showcase his excellence in the field of Journalism in the year,2010 . He was given this award for his outstanding contribution in Political News Reporting.

Mr. Anil Kapoor

Mr. Anil Kapoor celebrated, seasoned and widely experienced Film maker, Television and radio professional. Have distinction of being producer, director, writer and researcher in the field of film making with an experience of more than two decades. Apart from creative forays, ha has associated as a Faculty of Film production, direction and radio with many media institutes. Associated with All India Radio’s FM service since its inception days, he has contributed to strengthening of Radio Dhamaal’s programming as a National Programming Head. Mr. Anil Kapoor winner of many national awards for works in the field of radio including Akaswani awards and other radio ad awards like Exchange for Media award for best use of radio craft for programming initiatives and content production. He has produced more than sixty documentaries to my credit on subjects like social justice, community and rural development, environment, social issues, culture, art and crafts. He has also produced and directed many television program series for satellite television channels, including national television channel, Doordarshan.

Vivek Tripathi

Vivek Tripathi has been associated with ISOMES for the last 5 years. He is a UGC/NET qualified and LLB Degree holder. He also holds Masters in Mass Communication and Masters in Sociology from CSJM University. He is also the Course Coordinator for Masters in Mass Communication (MMC), Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism (PGDBJ) and Short term Anchoring courses. Vivek teaches Media Ethics & Issues and International Relations, The Basics of Print Media, Hindi Script Writing and Current Affairs to PG and UG students.

Alokananda Sen Awasthi

Alokananda Sen Awasthi has been a part of active journalism for more than a decade. She started her career as a sports reporter in Zee News in 1998. Apart from covering major International cricketing events, she is also credited for covering major sporting events like Busan Asian Games and Athens Olympics. She has also covered “THE MATCH FIXING SAGA” which shook the world of cricket. Aloka also served as Sr. Producer cum reporter in IBN 7 till 2011, where she covered major sporting events like Cricket World Cup, 2010, Indian Premier League, Asian Games and Commonwealth Games to name a few. She has interviewed many sporting legends like Ricky Ponting, Saurav Ganguly and Vijay Singh to name a few. It is the passion for sports which has driven her so long in this field. Sports reporting makes you a globe trotter...In all these years have accumulated huge experience by meeting not just sport person but also various sports administrator from across the world. Presently she shares her vast experience with students by not just theoretically teaching about journalism but also by giving them practical training which is essential to journalism

Arindam Sarmah

Arindam Sarmah has been working in the television and film industry for the past 15 years in various capacities. He started off as an apprentice with world renowned wildlife filmmaker Mr. Mike Pandey and has worked in many award winning films. He has also edited famous environmental series “Earth Matters”. Apart from working with Mr. Mike Pandey, He has worked with various production houses such as Miditech and BIG Synergy and has edited famous children series “Gali Gali Sim Sim” - Indian version of Sesame Street. Arindam has also edited a series of 26 films on Indian Sculptures “The Sculptures of India” for Doordarshan National Network. He has also produced two documentary films and has worked as a director, cameraman and editor for the same. He has also worked in new media industry and has edited mobile videos for a US based company Rhythm New Media. A graduate in English Literature, Arindam teaches Editing and Post Production at ISOMES.

Alok Sharma

A media professional with 28 years of experience in print, electronic and web journalism, Alok Sharma is working as Editor, Content, B.A.G Convergence. In April, Alok launched E Newspaper of India, the country’s first digital newspaper. Alok has worked in various capacities on the desk as well as on field, handling news production and news gathering with equal ease, both in print and television. Before joining B.A.G Network, he worked with Headlines Today for eight-and-a-half years as Editor, Output. A bilingual journalist proficient in both English and Hindi, he played a key role in the launch of Aaj Tak, Star News (Now ABP News) and The Asian Age; as also in the revamp of Headlines Today, The Sunday Observer and The Pioneer. Before joining electronic media, he worked as reporter for one-and-a-half decades in various newspapers like The Times of India, The Sunday Observer, The Asian Age, Business Standard and The Pioneer. Alok teaches English scriptwriting for television.

Madhulika Agrawal, has been heading programming for E24 since Jan 2013. She has over 12 years of diverse experience in the television industry. Before joining BAG, Madhulika was with the Fox International channels where she spearheaded content for the launch & running of Fox History, Fox Traveller and the re-launch of National Geographic Channel in India. Before Fox Madhulika also worked with Star News and production houses like Miditech and UTV. She started her career working for Vir Sanghvi’s chat show Star Talk. She has an Hons degree in English Literature from Delhi University, a PG Diploma in TV & Film Production from Xavier’s Inst of Communications, Mumbai and a Master’s in Communication Policy from University of Westminster, London.
