Bachelor in Mass Communication - UGC

A three years degree in Mass Communication and a Graduate Diploma in Convergence Media.
This three years graduation level program covers all major fields of Mass Media which are required for aspiring media professionals. Our aim is to make the students well versed with theoretical & practical knowledge as well.
Keeping in mind the present scenario of media industry the course has been divided into six semesters which covers all professional aspects of broadcast media. Students are trained with anchoring and reporting skills, Radio Production & Jockeying, Video Editing, Camera & Lighting, News & Script Writing and TV Production & Direction.
It also includes the detailed study of Media Management, Media Issues & Ethics, Public relation & Advertising, Print Journalism, Professional Communication, Language Skills, Currents Affairs and Economics etc.

The curriculum of the course have been designed according to the current requirement of media industry which is based on  the ratio of 60% practical and 40% theory.

During the session, frequent interaction with Anchors, Journalists and Media Professionals from well known news channels including News24 and E24 channels, provides complete exposure to students towards media industry.
Such interactions not only increase their general awareness but at the same time it also prepare them to adapt practical approach to the media world.
It is the only graduation level program in India which provides the simultaneous attached training to the students in our huge broadcast setup i.e. News24, E24 & Darshan 24 channels and a radio station, Dhamal24.
The direct hands down training in the News Room and the Professional Studios of the channels make them accustomed to the environment.
Students, who are interested in Print Journalism, get opportunity to work with E- News Paper of BAG Network, which is the first digital news paper of India and the Convergence of News24 and E24 Channel.
