Renu Garg is a M.A in Theatre and Television. She received Post Grad in acting from National School of Drama. She has taught at eminent acting schools and is a visiting faculty of various prestigious institutions in India like NID. Well-grounded in theoretical and conceptual foundations of Acting and Direction, she is skilled in both individual and group process. Ms Garg has worked with both children and adults. As an actress she has worked with eminent national and international directors and has conducted numerous acting and direction workshops. With more than forty plays to her credit and several television and film appearances.Her selected direction credits include: Dolls House,Death of a Salesman,Desire Under the Elms, Blood Wedding, Othello, the Moore of Venice, Lithuania and Riders to the Sea.Selected Acting credits include: Romeo Juliet, Three Penny Opera,Arsenic and Old Lace, Three Sisters, Seagull, Six Characters in Search of an Author and Candida. Ms Garg has helped many actors become more effective in their artistic and business approach to landing good roles. Her students have bagged fine roles in films and television. She has a special interest in helping her students discover fruitful links between voice and the acting process taught at the school. She has her unique style of instruction, guiding the students to artistic freedom and performance excellence. She melds different acting   approaches with a number of other styles to address the specific needs of her students. In addition to her impressive list of teaching credits, she is also a freelance writer and has adapted a couple of plays.Her adaptation of Lorca’s “The House of Bernarda Alba” was presented by Actor Prepares repertory.
