Hello everyone I am Aarti Palekar. At present I am pursuing the – Indian Institute of Professional Program - IIJP. It's a learning experience for me and has helped me boost my talent. As an artist the program has helped me think with a broader horizon, as my designs results of combination of my creativity and technical aspects of design which I learnt at IIJ. We had an annual festival "Aakrati" – wherein we learnt some traditional Indian art and craft technique. I am quite sure the program will help me build a glorifying career in design and will eventually help me carve a brand name for myself.

I pursued my Master Creator course from IIJ in 2010. I joined the Jewellery industry because my mother runs a clothes boutique and I wanted to expand the line. The reason I chose IIJ to do this course was that it is the only institute that offered a jewellery manufacturing course, which is essential for a beginner to start with. Now that I have started my own business, I understand that design, price and quality control are very important to retain all your customers. I was given the opportunity to showcase my collection in IIJ's annual exhibition and sale held during the Annual Convocation week. I am hoping to be there next year as well. Thanks to all at IIJ.
