For gaining a pilot’s license you need to undergo training in: - Ground Subject
Air Regulations: - ATC Flight plans, ICAO Documents & Regulations, Aircraft Rules & Regulations governing India & applicable countries of operations, AIC, AIP, Radio Telephony & Communication procedures etc.
Air Navigation: General Navigation, Instruments, Radio Aids to Aviation including GPS and FANS, Flight planning (Basic & Advanced). General Aircraft Performance covering piston, Turbo prop and jet Aircraft, maps & Charts, high/low altitude Radio navigation charts, SIDS & STARS, Approach and area charts, additionally latest navigational developments such as EFIS & FMS.
Aviation Meteorology: Aviation Meteorology, synoptic Meteorology, Indian climatology, general Meteorology, High Altitude Meteorology, met documents required for domestic and international flights etc.
Aircraft Technical: Aircraft and Engines- Theory of Flight (Basic and Advanced), high speed Aerodynamics, piston Engines, Turbo propend Jet engines, various Aircraft system and Airworthiness requirements for the aircraft.
Aircraft Specific & General Radio Telephony: Principles of flight relating to aero planes, Radiotelephony procedures and phraseology as applied to VFR and IFR operations, action to be taken in case of communication failure.

Medical Requirements
Prior to the Pilot training you will be required to get a class II medical assessment done from a DGCA approved Doctor. GAAA will help you get your medical done.

Go Airways Aviation Academy provide you with professional ground training for obtaining a CPL, using world class training aids, by highly qualified and current Airline Pilots as Faculty, Who provide you technical education using the syllabus, as per guidelines issued by the Director General of Civil Aviation. The pilot Ground training programme is now training aspiring pilots as per the new DGCA Regulations. We conduct only ground subject’s classes. 200 to 250 hours flying & their charges are extra. On the request of the candidate we can arrange for his/her flying at a DGCA approved flying club for which the charges are to be paid directly to them. We are also Authorized Consultant for Commercial Pilot License and Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Training course by India’s largest flying Academy Wings Aviation, which is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation DGCA, Govt. of India.
Examination Authority & Scheme of Examinations:
Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), under the ministry of civil Aviation conducts quarterly examination for pilot at various centers across India. A candidate has to pass these examinations and complete a min. of 200 – 250 hrs flying hours for CPL successfully to obtain the relevant pilot license from DGCA, Govt. of India. The exam for Radio Telephony is conducted by ministry of communication, Govt. of India and the medical test for pilot is conducted by DGCA approved doctors at various places in India. Students of CPL will have to undergo a class II medical Exam, with a appointed doctor, who is DGCA and FAA approved. And the class I medical certificate issued by central medical establishment on behalf of Director of Medical Services, New Delhi need to be obtained before the issuance of a Commercial Pilot License by DGCA.
