Film & Television Direction Raaghav Dar Raaghav Dar is from Jaipur, Rajastan and has studied Film Making from the FTII, Pune. Raaghav Dhar has vast experience as a Director. Before directing the feature film - My friend Pinto in 2011, he has worked as an assistant director on Mani Ratnam’s film - Guru and as an associate director on Abbas Tyrewala’s film - Jaane tu na Jaane na. He also worked as an Associate director on Sanjay LeelaBhansali’s Opera production – Padmavati - in Paris. He has directed several short films and won the Honorable mention from BAFTA in Aspen shorts fest for his short film – “Bombay Summer” in 2004. He has taken many workshops for institutes as FTII and NID and is currently working on the script of his next feature film. Deepti Khurana Deepti Khurana - Born in Rohtak, Haryana on 06-01-1983 she came to Delhi to pursue her career where she started as News reader in All India Radio. She lectured for an year in GGSIP university for mass communication students for an year while she realized that she wants to learn film making. This brought her to Film and Television Institute of India, Pune; where she did a course in Film direction. While the tenure of FTII she made various short films as part of her project. She has been working in Mumbai as freelance film maker and guest lecturer (film making). Recently, her short film Rizwan which is travelling to the various film festivals; has been awarded special jury mention at IDSFFK2012 Kerala, Got in Final five at LIFF2012, Ladakh; Selected for Cine-parallel program at 11th open Saint Petersburg student film festival,2012, Best cinematography award at Indradhanush Fuji film competition 2012. Her filmography includes Vedna, Anid’84, Rizwan (Fiction); O’s on a treadmill, Journey of a dream, Stagecraft (Non-Fiction); Srishti (Music-video) Sound Recording & Engineering Manish Pingle (SYNC Sound Recordist & Designer.) Mr. Manish Pingle graduated from Film and Television institute of India, Pune in 1998. He has worked in international Films like Eat Pray Love starring Julia Roberts and The curse of King Tut’s Tomb produced by Mitch Engel. He has also worked as Indian sound effects recordist on the famous film LIFE OF PI - directed by Ang Lee and an Italian production, Flying Lessons - produced by Khussro Films. He also worked on Hindi Feature films as - Teri Meri Kahaani - Directed and Produced by Kunal Kohli, Rann - Directed by Ram Gopal Varma. He also worked for the Television series Satyamev Jayate and a documentary Chale Chalo on the making of Lagaan, a film which was was a runner up in the Oscars. Acting Darshan Jariwalla Darshan V Jariwalla is a renowned Indian Actor, writer, director and Producer. With an experience of about 38 years behind him, Mr. Jariwalla has been lauded as a fine character Actor equally at ease in front of Camera as he is on stage. TV came to him as a natural progression; He played the iconic saint Poet Narsinh Mehta for Gujarati TV in 1990, began his Hindi TV stint with Kya Baat hai in 1996-97 followed by a host of Fiction and Non Fiction shows across all channels, with Saas Bina Sasural being his latest show. In cinema, he played Mahatma Gandhi in “Gandhi My Father” He also did Guru, Halla Bol, Ajab Prem ki Gazab Kahaani, Raaj Neeti, Aarakshan, Life Partner, What’s Your Raashi?, Kahaani, Rowdy Rathore and recently shot Phataa Poster Nikla Hero. He has also acted in English Films like Loins Of Punjab Presents, Karma Calling, Save Your Legs and Million Dollar Arm. Apart from Acting, Mr. Jariwalla is also a consummate director. He is the drama Director of Zangoora, the longest Running Bollywood Musical at Kingdom Of Dreams and of Ram Leela- Ajay Devgn Ke Saath. Recognising his talent, he was conferred the highest National Honour for Acting. In 2007, he won the National Award for Best Supporting Actor for Gandhi, my Father. Vinod Rawat Vinod has completed his post-graduation with specialization in Acting from FTII, Pune. Prior to this, he had been part of the Kshitij Theatre Repertory Group in New Delhi, where he was part of numerous plays and acting workshops for 3 years. He has played important roles in films like LSD, 404-Error not found and Shahid. Along with acting, he honed his skills by working as an Associate Casting Director with prominent Directors of the Film Industry including DibakerBannerjee, VikramadityaMotwane, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., PawanKriplani and GautamMenon. The films to his casting credits include Shanghai, Lootera, shor in the City and Ragini MMS. |
