This guitar is a modern version of an early string instrument called Lute. Consisting of a hollow wooden body, broader fret board and six nylon strings; it is played using finger picking with finely shaped nails. The genre of music taught is mainly classical and modern 20th century music featuring composers such as Boch, Mozart, Villa Lobos, Albeniz, Agustin Barrios Mangore etc.
