In my early days when i was passionate to learn animation there were very few animation schools around. Now we have hundreds of them in India, With 10 years of experience in both 2D classical Animation and Computer generated animation I can rightly say that very few of them teach you the actual art of animation film making. Poor students end up learning just the software’s and miss all the essentials of acting and performance. Few schools like Animation and Art School Goa nourish students with the actual art of film making. I personally know Mr Ruturaj Arolkar since 2006 , He is a great teacher and awesome modeler and has huge amount of experience in animation field. I personally know all the faculties at A and A who are really talented and they come with a strong background .I am sure the students of A and A will gain in depth knowledge of producing good quality animated films. Raj is one of the best tutors I have come across in my career, certainly Yes. Raj to me personally is an inspiration for his attitude towards being very dedicated, professional and a perfectionist . Really cool guy and fun to hang around. Definitely a good artist and a techie too. His lectures are always very well planned, and he makes sure every student understood the concepts behind Modelling, Light/Shade and CG as a whole. Moreover an excellent CG supervisor and really knows to run any show successfully even in very tight deadlines,pressure and terrible scenarios you can ever imagine in production. Raj is very artist friendly, understands our needs and strongly supports his team. He is very helpful when it comes to career growth.
