Ruturaj actively started pursuing 3D animation as a profession from 1995 while studying his Engineering. Following his Mechanical Engineering he traveled to San Francisco , California in the USA for pursuing a Fine Art Degree at the esteemed ACADEMY OF ART UNIVERSITY - he started his career with Rhythm and Hues Studios and has worked with Many reputed brands including Cadbury's. he was Nominated in the top 3 commercials of the year and has received many prestigious awards like the annual FICCI FRAMES AWARD and the GOLDEN CURSOR AWARD". Ruturaj Co-founded the Ittina Animation Studio and Takshaa - Academy for the Artist in Bangalore which was very well known for its quality of work within the industry.

After leaving Bangalore Ruturaj has moved to the serene state of Goa where he has now setup ANIMATION AND ART SCHOOL GOA which has expanded over what was created before at Takshaa and taken the art and animation education to new heights. A clear mind void of stress and an awe inspiring surrounding for inspiration was the reason to move to Goa where he continues to teach with some other talented and well known faculties and artists. With over 8 years of teaching experience and 10 years of Animation production experience, Ruturaj has set out to create a school that has a perfect blend of Fine Art and Technology to help create the next generation of original content developers and creatives for the field of Animation.

Aditya Chari

Aditya Chari is a well know name in the animation industry. Aditya is a B.F.A in Applied Arts from Sir J.J.School of Art. Aditya is the author of two Art books that are used in art colleges by students as study material. PORTRAIT TECHNIQUES MADE EASY. FIGURE STUDY MADE EASY. Aditya is a Concept Artist, Character Designer and an Illustrator. He has designed for big companies in the field of animation like Prana Studios, Virgin Comics, Reliance and Futurethought to name a few.

He has worked as a Senior concept artist, Layout designer and pre production artist on many projects at these studios. Aditya has done more than 1500 Portrait sketches many of them being of Celebrities and Politicians.Aditya has designed and made illustrations for major brands and big advertising companies like, Forbes, Mudra, O&M, MTV Asia, Leo Burnett, Bajaj Auto, Indian Oil, Thumbs Up to name a few. Aditya has immense proficiency in figure and animal Drawing/ Anatomy and designed lot of conceptual characters with this strong foundation. Aditya Teaches Figure Drawing/ Anatomy and Character/Creature design at the Animation and Art School Goa.

Shiraj Yusuf Mulla

A graduate with a B.F.A in Applied from Kalaniketan Mahavidyalay, Kolhapur, Shiraj began his career in Animation with UTV Toons, Mumbai. With over 11 years of professional experience in the Animation field. Shiraj has over a period of years gained specialty in Digital art painting and matte painting for Films.

Shiraj has worked for the Gaming Industry with Indiagames and on multiple Feature film and TV projects, both international and Indian at studios such as Jadooworks, Famous Studio, UTV, Future Thought and Itiina Animation Studios to name a few. Shiraj handles the digital painting and Matte Painting classes here at Animation and Art School Goa.

Dattaraj Kamat

An illustration major with a B.F.A. from Goa college of Art, Dattaraj has developed an expertise in stylized character design for animation film production over a period of years. Dattaraj also holds a Diploma in Animation film making from IADAS Pune. Dattaraj began his animation career as BG concept artist at UTV Motion pictures, Mumbai for their animated feature film 'Alibaba and Forty one thieves.' where he was also responsible for designing the set layout as a support artist.

After working on couple of other feature film design projects like jajantaram mamantaram 2, Dattaraj moved back to his hometown Goa and is currently a part of the Pre Production development Department faculty team at Animation and Art School Goa. Dattaraj has also been involved in several illustration projects for various Advertising agencies and studios in UK, Mumbai and Goa.

Vinay Prasad

Professionally an animator over 5 yrs of industry experience in 3d and 2d experimental animation Vinay holds a B.F.A from Mysore University in Modern Art. Vinay was a Co founder of 'Rejected Ink' a company which specialized in experimental short films and develop content for short TV series, commercials and short films. Later he moved into 3d animation and joined ittina animation studios and worked on several projects like 'Back to Barnyard', 'spryo' and also was responsible for original short film scripts for in house production.

Later Vinay joined SLK studios and was responsible for the studios creative department and worked on several commercials like ' bugati' and 'method'. Vinay also wrote scripts, co directed and animated for in house short film 'watchmaker'. Later he joined Animation And Art School Goa as an animator and ideator to help students to create original content for films. He has been teaching character animation since the days of TAKSHAA for Animation specialization and ideation. Vinay is also a sound designer and teaches sound design for short film projects.

Madhu Jalli

Madhu Studied his MFA at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco California and the LANEY community College in Alemeda, California.

Madhu has been one of the nationally recognized student sculptors and the San Francisco foundation honored him with the 2006 Murphy & Cadogan Fellowships in the Fine Arts

Later he moved to India and freelanced for many large scale sculpting projects which fetched him more awards which include Governor's Gold Medal for Outstanding Achievement and University of Andhra Pradesh gave him the Potti Sriramulu Award.

Currently Madhu has joined us as a faculty in the Sculpting department and is responsible for écorché and maquatte classes.
