Kurt Inderbitzin Chief Executive Officer Kurt offers in-depth knowledge in education, global media, entertainment and technology. Kurt holds an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago, a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelors of Arts from Georgetown University. From 2006 to 2008, Kurt headed the largest film and television institute in Asia – Whistling Woods International in Mumbai – for film studio Mukta Arts. In the 13 years prior to launching Whistling Woods, Kurt produced feature films and television movies and series in the United States for CBS, ABC, NBC, Lifetime, TBS and USA before becoming President of Abandon Pictures, a diversified entertainment company. During this period, Kurt was also a guest lecturer or visiting faculty at many universities including Texas Christian University, Susquehanna University, University of California, Northridge, and the University of LaVerne.
Chris Higgins President Chris has 10 years marketing and management experience in India, the US, the UK, and Australia. As the founding head of admissions and affiliations at Whistling Woods International in Mumbai, Chris established ground-breaking connections and exchange programs with media schools in Australia, the US and the UK. He developed India’s first internship program for US film students, and secured significant funding from the UK government to develop UK/India educational ties. Chris followed this with two years as the national head of business development in India for UK media sales agency SpaceandPeople. He built India’s largest network of managed promotional space and coordinated over 150 promotional campaigns for major brands in the auto, media, FMCG, IT, travel and banking sectors. Chris has a Bachelor of Business in Advertising and Promotions Management from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Geetika Tondon VP – Academics & Film Fund Geetika was the founding Head of Student productions at Whistling Woods International, which was Asia’s largest film and media school at the time. Under her supervision, many student films went on to win awards at prestigious short film festivals including Cannes and Pune International Film Festival. She has worked with Balaji Telefilms, heading the new Department of Screenwriting for their educational wing, as well as consulting with other new film schools in curriculum design. Geetika has written a Screenwriting textbook called ‘Write Right’. In addition to her work as an academician, over the last decade Geetika she has worked in various creative capacities on the production of feature films, ads and television projects.
Ayesha Mohammed General Manager: HR & Student Services Ayesha has 10 years experience in BPO/IT/ITES and the education industry. She has exposure in various fields of human resources and operations. Ayesha has a consistent, people-oriented approach to HR functions and views human resources as a strategic business partner, where her department works on solution-driven strategies with directional thoughts, clear objectives and consistent performance. She enjoys new challenges and has managed several projects from scratch. Working in teams comes to her naturally and allows her to perform at her best personally and professionally Ayesha holds an MBA from the Institute of computers and business management. |
